Cauliflower Pepper Fry/ gobi ki sabzi

Recipe for Cauliflower pepper fry:
Cauliflower pepper fry:
Oil – 2-3 tsp
For tampering: cumin and mustard seeds and curry leaves
1 small onion – chopped into small pieces
Cauliflower florets – chopped/ cut into fine small chunks
2 green chillies
Ginger garlic paste.
Bell pepper – optional (but adds additional taste, I didn’t add this time)
Chilli powder, garam masala and pepper powder, salt and turmeric.
Coriander leaves to garnish
Prep: in hot water, leave the cauliflower florets for 5 min and then drain and put a side. Heat oil in a pan and add cumin and mustard seeds. Once they splutter, add curry leaves and green chillies. After 30 sec, add onions. Once the onions go translucent, add ginger garlic paste and saute until the raw flavor is gone. Now add a pinch of turmeric powder and cauliflower florets. Cook until they are tender and then start adding the dry spices like chilli powder, salt and garam masala.
The little tip here is in a small kadai add ghee and let it melt.once its hot add a 1 small tsp of pepper powder to it and mix it well.
Now pour this on to the top of the cauliflowers and saute it for 2 min. You can’t resist the flavour of it. Finally garnish with coriander leaves.
